This autobuographyautobiography was a pure delight, even the subtitle, „Surely"Surely, youreyou're joking, Mr. Feynaman” from beginingFeynman," captures the atmosphere of the book right from the beginning. LightIt is a light, addictive book where FeynamanFeynman gave us an incredibly human and hinesthonest view into his life and philosophy.
This book contains a lot of amazing storystories, but the one whichthat struck me most deeply was his lessons learned from observing the BrazikianBrazilian educational system. This realized memade me realize that this only memorizing words and formulas instead of understanding them also applies to me.
Another lesson that is engraved in my memory wasis to never take any data for granded and togranted but always question the sources. We tend to do so,; however, the world of science has shown us more than once that sometimes you have to ask yourself whether something weyou assume to be true is for surea certainty.
In my opinion this book is for everyone, forfrom the oldest to the youngest. Don’t be scaredconcerned that an autobiography of one of the most famous phisicistphysicists is going to be a long, boring story that contaiscontains lots of even more boring formula. Don’t worryformulas, Imbecause I'm sure that, after reading this book, yiu gonnayou are going to be more inspired and motivated to exploreexplore the world around you.
